IDD FUN DAY
IS ON MARCH 22
Spindletop Center annual IDD Fun Day
is happening on March 22, 2024 on
our North Campus!
IDD Fun Day is held every March,
which is historically Developmental
Disabilites Awareness Month, to
celebrate the abilities of the individuals
we serve, as well as their interest in
participating in community activities.
Individuals choosing Spindletop Center
as their provider for IDD services are
invited to attend and participate in the
event.
“It's been over a decade we have been
hosting IDD Fun Day and our
individuals never get tired of it. They
ask about IDD Fun Day all throughout
the year,” says Patricia Allen,
Spindletop Center’s Rights Protection
Officer and the lead organizer to this
year’s IDD Fun Day.

“They are looking forward to a full day
of getting out of their classroom to
dance, play games, win prizes, and
make memories with their friends. They
are also hard at work preparing for the
IDD Idol competition which is sure to be
a crowd pleaser and inspire us to
embrace life to the fullest,” said Allen.
